Walk in Peace Boot is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted boot rooted in craftsmanship, story, and intention. Each pair begins as a repurposed V Italia boot, originally made in Portugal and thoughtfully transformed in the USA through hand painting and stitched appliqué. The result is a piece that feels both grounded and expressive—marked by time, touch, and meaning.
These boots were inspired by the Buddhist monks who passed through our area during their Walk for Peace, a journey taken step by step across the country in quiet service of compassion and unity. We were fortunate to witness a small moment of their long walk—a reminder of the power of presence, humility, and shared humanity. That spirit lives on here, carried forward through careful craft and deliberate design.
