Self-Care Saturday at Gaia

Self-Care Saturday at Gaia

There comes a point in every woman’s life—sometimes many points—when she quietly realizes that she is caring for everyone but herself. Aging parents, husbands whose health is changing, children who need emotional and physical support, demanding careers, shifting responsibilities, a calendar that never quite lets up. Women make the world work. And too often, they do so while running on empty.

At Gaia, we see you.

We hear the exhaustion behind the smile, the resilience in your humor, the way you keep showing up even when you’re stretched thin. And this season, we felt called to do something for the women who spend their days doing everything for everyone else.

Self-Care Saturday was created for you.
A soft landing. A few hours where the only thing you need to do is breathe, explore, sip something lovely, ask questions, and reconnect with your own well-being.

Because here’s the truth:

Without you, nothing works the way it should.
You keep families, friendships, and entire worlds afloat.
And you deserve—without hesitation or apology—to be cared for too.

On December 13th, Gaia becomes a sanctuary for restoration. We’ve invited an extraordinary group of women-owned wellness practitioners, each offering a different pathway back to balance, energy, and clarity. You’ll be able to chat with them, ask questions, try experiences, sip non-alcoholic craft cocktails, and explore new ways to nourish your body, spirit, and mind.

This event is about community, curiosity, and remembering that caring for yourself is not indulgent—it is essential.

Why Self-Care Saturday Matters

Life’s responsibilities don’t pause. But your nervous system, your emotional well-being, your body—they all need time to recalibrate. Many of us spend years in cycles of caretaking, not realizing how deeply it affects our health: disrupted sleep, muscle tension, anxiety, mental fatigue, inflammation, burnout.

Self-care isn’t a trend. It’s a lifeline.

Our hope is that this gathering encourages you to step back into your own center. To try new modalities. To meet experts who can help guide your next chapter of wellness. And to feel surrounded by women who understand exactly where you’re coming from.

Because you don’t have to carry it all alone.

Below is an introduction to each practitioner joining us. Each one brings something unique, powerful, and lovingly grounded in the belief that women deserve to feel whole—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Radiant Wave Wellness

Recharge your body at the cellular level.

Imagine your cells as tiny batteries. When those batteries are charged, your body can repair, restore, and function with ease. But stress, aging, toxins, and exhaustion can drain those cellular voltages, creating an imbalance that ripples into inflammation, detox issues, sleep problems, fatigue, even illness.

Radiant Wave Wellness offers a gentle yet profound approach to restoring optimal cellular energy through light frequencies and scalar-wave technology—a field explored by visionary thinkers like Nikola Tesla. Scalar waves move through space without losing power, creating a stable energetic environment that supports healing.

During a session, you recline in a comfortable chair surrounded by soft light and music while the Radiant Wave System™ interacts with the crystalline structures within your cells. The effect?

• Improved circulation
• Boosted mitochondrial activity (your body’s energy generators)
• Enhanced detoxification
• Reduced inflammation
• Support for DNA repair and longevity

It is non-invasive, deeply soothing, and scientifically promising.

About Founder Brenda Hawkins

Brenda’s journey started when her mother-in-law was diagnosed with dementia. That experience ignited her passion for discovering advanced, compassionate wellness approaches. Today, she’s not only offering this cutting-edge technology but also building a women’s social and wellness community where self-care meets friendship.

This is care that lifts you from the inside out.

Himalayan Hideaway Salt Cave

Step into stillness and breathe again.

Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is stop—really stop. Himalayan Hideaway Salt Cave provides exactly that. In their serene, softly glowing salt chamber, guests enjoy 45 minutes of true disconnection—no electronics, no urgency, no noise.

Salt therapy, or halotherapy, is known to support:

• Allergy relief
• Improved breathing for bronchitis or COPD
• Reduced inflammation
• Clearer skin
• Stress reduction

The microclimate of the cave mimics natural salt caverns found in Eastern Europe—spaces long used for respiratory and wellness support.

But beyond the physical benefits, the experience itself is a reset: reclining in a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by warmth, quiet, and the subtle energy of Nepalese culture.

About Owner Chrissy Klunder

Chrissy’s journey began when she sought relief from an illness that conventional medicine couldn’t diagnose. Salt therapy became the first treatment that truly helped her—and she felt called to bring this gentle, natural healing to others. Her work is rooted in compassion, accessibility, and the belief that wellness should feel calming, not complicated.

Raise a glass that lifts your spirit—beautifully.

During the event, you’ll get to sip Little Saints’ exceptional non-alcoholic botanical cocktails. These are not sugary mocktails—these are sophisticated, layered beverages crafted with adaptogens, plant terpenes, and functional mushrooms.

• A sense of purpose and reconnection

Why We Created This Event

Because your well-being matters.
Because too many women carry too much alone.
Because care-taking should not cost you your health.
Because your strength deserves replenishment.
Because you deserve ease, comfort, and community.
Because a few hours of nourishment can change the trajectory of a week—or a season.
Because you are worth tending to.

At Gaia, we wanted to create a space where women could ask questions freely, discover new paths to wellness, and feel embraced by a community of practitioners who specialize in supporting the whole person—not just the symptoms.

Self-Care Saturday is not a sales event. It is a gift. A pause. A reminder that your own needs matter.
