Step Into the World of Alembika at GAIA: Friday & Saturday, October 3–4

There are some weekends that feel like an event in themselves—moments that invite you to pause, reset, and let yourself be surprised. Our upcoming Alembika Trunk Show is one of those weekends. For two days only at GAIA, you’ll have the chance to step fully into the world of Alembika: a brand that has redefined how women dress, layer, and express themselves at every age.

This isn’t just browsing a rack of clothes. This is trying on pieces you’ve only admired online—feeling the drape of the fabrics, seeing how the shapes move, and discovering which silhouettes tell your story best. Whether you leave with a statement coat, the vest that suddenly pulls your whole wardrobe together, or the dress you didn’t know you needed until you slipped it on, this trunk show is about more than shopping. It’s about connection: to the clothes, to the designers, and to yourself.

And this season, the show is even better. Alongside Alembika, we’re thrilled to welcome Paper Temples—a brand we adore for its hand-knit sweaters and artistic approach to sustainable fashion. Two incredible collections. One weekend. A lot of joy.

Why Alembika Matters

If you know Alembika, you already understand why we’re excited. If you don’t, let us introduce you.

Founded in Israel, Alembika is built by a multigenerational team of women—designers, marketers, buyers, creatives—who understand the way women want to feel in their clothes. Their guiding belief? That style has no expiration date. From plus to petite, women of every age and stage deserve fashion that makes them feel comfortable, confident, and seen.

What sets Alembika apart is how seamlessly it blends ease and artistry. Their designs aren’t about hiding or over-complicating. They’re about celebrating. The way a flowing dress skims the body without clinging. The unexpected pairing of colors and textures that makes an outfit feel alive. The little twists on familiar shapes that make every new collection feel like a fresh discovery.

It’s fashion that’s less about rules and more about how you want to move through the world.

A Season of Color, Texture, and Confidence

Alembika’s Fall 2025 collections are a masterclass in mood, layering, and reimagining what we think of as seasonal dressing. Each collection speaks to a different side of the Alembika woman—and, we’d argue, a different side of every woman who walks into GAIA.

Shades of Brown

Brown is having a moment, and Alembika proves why. From warm cinnamon to deep espresso, this collection is rooted in the richness of nature. Think weighty knits, layered chiffon, and stretch jersey that balance structure with fluidity. The palette is understated but full of depth—a quiet drama that feels endlessly wearable. This edit is for women who want their wardrobes to feel grounded, warm, and sensual.

Urban Uniform

Utility meets femininity in this edit. Crisp cottons and relaxed terry knits form the foundation, while unexpected splashes of purple striping give the collection an urban pop. Wide-leg jeans, tops, and dresses move easily from coffee dates to city strolls. It’s practical, yes—but elevated, with a touch of playfulness.

After Dark

Alembika has always known how to make clothes that feel like a party without sacrificing comfort. This season’s After Dark edit is no exception. Soft metallics, romantic florals, pops of red, sculptural shapes, rich textures—the lineup is made for weddings, evening events, and holiday gatherings. Slip one on and you’ll see: these dresses and separates are meant to turn heads while letting you breathe, move, and enjoy.

Forever Iconic

This is Alembika’s DNA: forever flattering, always relevant. The Iconic cotton jeans, premium knitwear, and versatile layers that form the backbone of so many wardrobes. If you’re new to Alembika, this is where you start. If you’re a longtime fan, this is where you keep building.

Why GAIA Loves Alembika

At GAIA, we’re picky. We don’t just bring in brands because they’re beautiful (though Alembika certainly is). We bring them in because they offer something more: longevity, versatility, and joy.

What we love most about Alembika is how they keep their iconic shapes and flowy dresses fresh every season. Each year, there’s a new twist: a brighter color, a sharper stripe, an unexpected fabric pairing. This fall, it’s the pairing of milk chocolate with deep purple, olive with shiny gold. Tones that perfectly complement the changing colors of the season—clothes that mirror the shift in the air and invite us to shift with them.

Paper Temples Joins the Weekend

As if Alembika weren’t enough, we’re thrilled that Paper Temples will also be joining us.

Founded in 2020, this brand quickly captured our hearts with its hand-knit sweaters and sustainable apparel.Everything is touched by artistry: the sweaters are knit in St. Louis, the prints are created through a partnership with Central Print Studio, a non-profit also based in St. Louis. The result is a collection that feels personal, expressive, and rooted in community.

This season, Paper Temples introduces a bold Tartan plaid—already a fan favorite and nearly sold out. They’ve also brought in new graphic patterns, hand-painted onto their knitwear. Each piece feels less like clothing and more like wearable art, perfect for layering with Alembika’s flowy dresses or grounding a statement coat.

Why This Trunk Show Is Special

A trunk show is not just a chance to shop. It’s a chance to experience.

At GAIA, we know how hard it can be to buy clothes online. You scroll, you admire, you second-guess: Will that silhouette work on me? Will that fabric drape the way I want?

The beauty of a trunk show is that it takes the guesswork out of shopping. You get to try the pieces on, feel them, move in them, and—most importantly—discover how they make you feel.

And we’re not leaving you to navigate it alone. Our dear friend Mark Garland will be here to guide you through the collections. He knows Alembika inside and out, and he has a gift for helping women find the pieces that light them up.

Add to that the limited quantities (which always makes the show exciting) and you have a weekend that’s part fashion event, part treasure hunt, part celebration of style.

The Invitation

So consider this your personal invitation:

Whether you leave with a single piece or a whole new direction for your fall wardrobe, we promise you’ll leave feeling inspired.
