April 17–18 | 11 AM – 4 PM
There are certain collections that feel less like clothing—and more like discovery. This weekend at GAIA, we’re welcoming one of those rare moments.
Join us for our annual trunk show with Mieko Mintz, a designer known for transforming vintage textiles into quietly striking, one-of-a-kind garments.
Working primarily with antique silk kantha, Mieko Mintz reimagines traditional materials into pieces that feel both storied and entirely modern. Think lightweight, layerable jackets, relaxed jumper dresses, and easy, full pants—each one shaped by hand, each one completely unique.
Her work is defined by color. Not loud for the sake of it, but rich, intentional, and full of depth. Every piece carries its own composition—no repeats, no reproductions—just singular garments that make a statement without trying too hard.
This trunk show happens just once a year, and it’s always something special. It’s a chance to experience the collection in person, to feel the fabrics, to try on silhouettes you won’t find anywhere else—and to find that one piece that feels like it was meant for you.
As always with Mieko Mintz, quantities are limited. What’s here this weekend won’t come back.
We hope you’ll join us.
