Meet Neetu Malik | MSquare Trunk Show at GAIA

May 1–2 | In-Store Event

This weekend, we welcome Neetu Malik, founder and designer of MSquare, to GAIA for a special two-day trunk show.

More than a collection, this is an opportunity to meet the woman behind the work—to experience the textiles, the tailoring, and the thoughtful design language that has made MSquare a quiet force across boutiques in the U.S. and Canada.

A Designer Shaped by Dual Influences

Neetu Malik is, at her core, both an artist and an entrepreneur.

Raised in a traditional household, her perspective was shaped early—by a mother with a strong sense of personal style and a father with an entrepreneurial spirit. That combination still defines her work today: intuitive, expressive design grounded in clarity and purpose.

When MSquare launched in 2009, it wasn’t built around trends—it was built in response to boutique clients asking for something they couldn’t find elsewhere. What emerged is a collection that moves fluidly between East and West, blending cultural influences into something distinctly modern.

Tailored with Whimsy

There’s a balance in MSquare that’s hard to pin down—and that’s exactly what makes it work.

You’ll see it in her iconic mandarin collar button-downs, cut with a gentle swing that feels structured but never rigid. In tunic dresses and jackets that hold their shape while allowing movement. In pieces that feel intentional, but never overworked.

The silhouettes are architectural, but softened.
The fabrics are rich, often unexpected, yet wearable.
The result is clothing that feels refined without being precious.

Clothing That Meets You Where You Are

Neetu designs for a woman who understands herself.

The MSquare woman isn’t chasing an ideal—she’s dressing for her life. She values comfort, but not at the expense of presence. She wants pieces that feel timeless, that move with her, that carry a sense of ease while still feeling considered.

These are clothes that don’t demand attention—but they hold it.

What to Expect This Weekend

Alongside a selection of cash-and-carry pieces available, Neetu will be bringing additional pieces to explore—giving you a fuller look into the depth of her collection.

From elevated everyday tops to event-ready pieces in elegant, textural fabrics, this is a chance to try on, feel, and understand the garments in a way that simply isn’t possible online.

But more than that—it’s a chance to connect.

To ask questions.
To hear the story behind the textiles.
To understand how each piece comes to life.
