When Megan-Ilene found this fabric, she couldn't wait to cut. Light and soft cotton voile, hand cut blocks, natural dyes and block printed by hand. So much goes into each yard before it gets to her!
The fabric had to take center stage so a loose, unfussy button-up emerged. Easy to dress up or down with a stand up collar and a dramatic shirttail hem in the back. Don't forget pockets!
Not to be diminished are the little details like contrasting buttonhole thread, vintage, mismatched Corozo buttons (vegetable ivory) and a bright knot of linen thread to finish.
